Prayers
Naturally the Masjid offers public worship facilities for the obligatory prayers which are performed five times a day, and the Jummuah, Eid and Taraweeh prayers.  Prayer Times for today are visible on the right hand side and monthly timetables are also available for download.

Spiritual Development
Since its establishment, the Masjid has been proactive in the development of spirituality and moral standards in the community.

This is achieved through a wide range of activities including educational lectures, study circles, seminars, events and most importantly through the work Tabligh & Jamaat.

By this we try to ensure that we ourselves are practising upon Islam and we are inviting all Muslims to do the same.

Funeral Services
The Masjid provides bathing, shrouding and burial services for its members and the local community, and works in partnership with the local authority, the health authority and the coroner’s office to ensure services meets the needs of the Muslim community at such a difficult time, If you are in need of funeral assistance or anticipate the need of funeral services you should contact a member of the funeral team at the earliest possible opportunity. This is so they can help with all processes not merely the burial. The responsible brothers are:

This section of the masjid’s services fall under the remit of our Imaam Moulana Suhail.  He, along with volunteers from Masjid e Tauheedul Islam hold regular Mushwera (consultation) in an attempt to meet and address the needs of the community. May Allah accept all their efforts.

Current & proposed activities include

  • Commision of Sprititual Development Programmes

If you would like to assist with any of these activities or would like to propose any activties please email us on info@masjidetauheedulislam.com

Charity
Through the Masjid, the community regularly raises funds to support those in need around the world and locally.  Although too numerous to list all activities recent examples include raising money for a new dialysis machine at the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
